The Beijing International Science and Technology Film Festival (BISTFF) was established in September 2011 during Science Week (3rd Week of Sept.) by Beijing Science and Technology Association. It has been held five times successfully. It is a science and culture event in Beijing. The event will be from Sept.15th to Sept.23rd 2018.

BISTFF attracts many giant screen films, full dome films, 3D、4D films and scientific documentaries. It attracts many filmmakers to come, show and introduce their films, and it stimulates cultural exchanges and cooperations in China. Moreover, it plays an important role in promoting public appreciation and understanding of science.

The 6th BISTFF is inviting professionals and film companies worldwide to show their content at the Beijing Planetarium, China.

Important Deadlines

• Applications for film screening is due on June 15th, 2018.
• The sample screener should be mailed/web transfer to the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Science and Technology Film Festival no later than June 30th, 2018.
• The whole material (stage photos, posters, photos of the main cast and crew and film trailers etc.) of the film, which will be shown at the Film Festival, it should be mailed/web transfer to the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Science and Technology Film Festival before July 15th, 2018.
• The prints (or DCP, Hard Drive) of the selected films should be mailed to the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Science and Technology Film Festival before July 30th, 2018.
