Full Time Planetarium Specialist, Arlington VA
The Arlington Public School System, in Arlington, VA, (in the United States) is searching for a full time Planetarium Specialist to serve as director for its David M. Brown Planetarium. This is a full time teaching position, serving all grade levels for the county's 29,000 public school students. The planetarium also provides programming for members of the general public. The standalone facility was first opened in 1969. It has a 30 foot dome, and a new, single projector Digistar 7 system is currently being installed.
Arlington, VA is a community of almost 240,000 people, located just outside of Washington, DC. The Arlington school system is highly ranked among Virginia public schools.
