This is the first DSA Training in Asia! Macao Science Center is hosting a 4-day DigitalSky Academy workshop. This DSA provides an excellent opportunity for planetarians in Asia to attend a DSA. This workshop training program offers more than software training – they have developed a 3-strand approach to the workshops:

• Strand 1: Develop essential software skills in DigitalSky to improve the development of show content.
• Strand 2: Develop voice skills for effective presentation in the dome by providing professional voice coach sessions
• Strand 3: Improve the astronomical knowledge of the delegates by inviting local astronomers to give a talk and provide the background material for delegates. This also provides an opportunity to make connections with faculty for longer term collaborations.
