Jorge Bandera, designer, artist, and educator, merges work and academic realms, exploring theory-practice interplay. His interdisciplinary approach spans artificial space creation to digital artifact development. He investigates art-science interconnection, immersive image production, extended reality, interactive installations, and expanded formats. At the heart of his research lies creative coding, open-source software, and contemporary media exploration. Through his work, he fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, blending creative, technological, and contemporary artistic practices. As a lecturer at Universidad de los Andes and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, he promotes such collaboration.
