Following the previous conferences, the 4th conference in the series “Communicating Astronomy with the Public” aims to conquer the online and social territory of outreach and train science communicators to engage with the people of today and tomorrow. The conference will also present the final statistics of the International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009), as well as look at how outreach activities can be encouraged in the developing world.
