The James E. Richmond Science Center invites MAPS friends and colleagues to join the Middle Atlantic Planetarium Society Conference in Waldorf, Maryland.

The meeting will be a great time of camaraderie and professional development. The organizing committee has already lined up several exciting talks and workshops that take advantage of the conference’s location being relatively close to DC and NASA Goddard.

Additionally, workshops will include how to set up a “Live From the Sun” teacher workshop at your site, and “Getting Ready for the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse” presented by Charles Fulco, a representative from the International Astronomical Union’s working group on solar eclipses.
