The Mastery of Immersion is a collaborative programme that aims to investigate the diverse possibilities of creating immersive experiences in fulldome 360º. The first part of the 28-hour workshop is presented within the MIRA Festival programming, with a workshop and masterclass focused on the use of software and narrative tools in immersive environments.
The Workshop will focus on the introduction and application of the Smode Studio software, a tool that allows users to work in a more agile manner than other programs thanks to its GPU-based architecture and a workflow based on real-time “compositing” through 2D and 3D layers, effects, particle systems and shaders.
Teachers
- José Vaaliña (Creative director of Eyesberg Studio)
- Jordi Massó (CG artist and Smode specialist)
Program
On the 29-30-31/10 and 2/11 from 16:00-20:00 a Smode Workshop will be carried out at FIU House + Telenoika where the basic aspects of the software will be taught.
