Description
This is a hidden treasure:
The children’s radio play musical “Der Traumzauberbaum” (The Dream Magic Tree), originally from 1980, is the best-known work by East-German artists Reinhard Lakomy & Monika Ehrhardt. With well over 5 million records sold and extensive brand activities, the work enjoys absolute cult status today, over 40 years after its initial release and despite the early death of Reinhard Lakomy in 2013.
And this is how the story goes:
There, where the forest is seven days deep, stands the dream magic tree. In its leaves live the two little forest ghosts Waldwuffel and his very favorite Moosmutzel. With a big tuning fork they make its colorful dream-leaves sound so that they fly to the children to delight them with the most beautiful stories and songs. But one morning the two little forest ghosts tear off the blue leaves carrying the rain dreams, and this conjures up a disaster…
