2019 Russian International Fulldome Festival & Planetarium Conference
Reflections of the Universe, the 4th edition of Yaroslav's International Fulldome Festival will take place next week (June 14-16, 2019) at the Tereshkova Educational Center. This event commemorates the anniversary of the flight made by the first female cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union, Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova on June 16, 1963.
The festival will present productions from both European and Asian regions of Russia as well as other shows from Asia, America and Europe. The program of the Festival can be downloaded from here.
Reflections of the Universe traditionally welcomes representatives of the Russian Planetarium Association, of the International Planetarium Society and other Russian and foreign organizations. The Festival participants come from the Commonwealth of Independent States and from abroad — New Zeland, Mexico, Germany, Finland, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Hongkong, Thailand, the Netherlands, Poland, the United States of America, France and Japan. The cultural diversity of the Festival participants improves the professional status of the Center named after V.V. Tereshkova and planetariums from other cities and countries.
The Festival supports and awards game-changing shows, talented producers and creative teams while giving to the multicultural participants a valuable experience and many networking opportunities, also promoting a positive image of Russia abroad.
