Award Winners at Macao International Fulldome Festival

The International Planetarium Society, Inc. (IPS), the Macao Science Center Ltd. and Beijing Planetarium jointly organized the IPS-Macao International Fulldome Festival 2014 with the competition screening part held in Macao Science Center, and award winning plus public screening of the festival shows in both Macao and Beijing. The Festival saw an international line-up of about 30 newest high resolution digital fulldome shows in 2D or 3D format competing for prestigious awards. Below are the MIFF award winners: Best Children Production Cocomong: Space Adventure by METASPACE Best Producer Choice Award Dark Universe, by American Museum of Natural History MUSICA: Why is the Universe Beautiful? by Yamanashi Prefectural Science Center & Live Company Ltd. Best Audience Choice Award Dream to Fly by The Heavens of Copernicus Productions Best 3D & Best 8K To Space & Back by Sky-Skan & The Franklin Institute Best Local Fulldome Show Creativity Award Exploring Macau, by 3D Cities
