The Beijing International Science and Technology Film Festival (BISTFF) was established in September 2011 during Science Week (3rd Week of Sept.) by Beijing Science and Technology Association.

The Festival has been held five times successfully. It is a science and culture event in Beijing. The 7th BISTFF will be held on Sept.14-22rd 2019 at Beijing Science Center, Beijing Planetarium and etc.

BISTFF attracts many giant screen films, full dome films, 3D, 4D films and scientific documentaries. It also attracts many filmmakers to come, show and introduce their films, and it stimulates cultural exchanges and cooperations in China. Moreover, it plays an important role in promoting public appreciation and understanding of science.

This year, we will hold International Science and Technology Film Forum. We also call for speakers and guests to give a speech about science communication, film technology and film production at the 7th BISTFF International Forum.

Applications for film screening is due on May 31st, 2019.
To apply for film screening, you need to submit:

• Full Length Film Screener

Selected Films need to further submit the following material:

• Editable Poster
• Trailer
• English/Chinese Script (Optional)
