Dome Fest West is excited to announce new dates for the 2022 in-person fulldome film festival and conference. The 2nd Annual Dome Fest West will be pushed back a week to now take place October 6-9, 2022. Screenings will be shown at the Orange Coast College Planetarium located at 2701 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa. This world-class facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art fulldome projection system, making it the perfect venue to experience the best in immersive media.

“Delaying the festival by a week allows us to remove a conflict with the GSCA fall conference, as well as line Dome Fest West up closer to the 2022 IMERSA Montreal event,” said Ryan Moore, executive Director of Dome Fest West. “Now all three events take place in sequential weekends allowing for international attendees to have a better chance to attend two or maybe all three events.”

Dome Fest West 2022 will include fulldome films from around the world as well as workshops, panels, and keynotes from leaders in the immersive media industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest fulldome films, ask questions of the filmmakers, and network with other professionals in the field.
