Fulldome UK 2016 takes place at the National Space Centre in Leicester on Friday 4th & Saturday 5th November 2016. Submissions are now open for the 2016 festival in the following categories:

• Fulldome pieces long and short
• live performances
• talks
• demos and workshops

For the first time there will also be a VR section to the festival to encourage cross over between the dome and VR communities. All awesome immersive content is welcome! Submission deadline is 25 August 2016. Full details available on the event website. This will be a curated event and acceptance of your submission does not guarantee that your work will be shown at the festival. Films that fit the Short Film category will be entered into a juried competition, the winners of which will comprise the shortlisted screening reel. From this shortlist, a single ‘best of show’ film will be chosen by the jury, which will win a cash prize. There will also be the following specialist award categories, although there is no cash prize for these, just immersive glory and honour of galactic proportions.
