The preparations have begun: the last festival was held only 3 months ago and we are already busy preparing for the next one. The Fulldome Festival Brno 2018 will be held from 6 to 8 June, 2018 at the Brno Observatory and Planetarium and this time, it was given a mysterious subtitle: A Farewell Festival… But why? What’s the true meaning of the subtitle? Will it be the last one? Has it reached all it could have ever been? Or are we going even bigger? Maybe we have decided to draw a line at the beginning of a young tradition. And maybe not… Come and find out for yourself! Producers can already submit their shows to present their newest work at the festival. We accept shows released after January 1, 2017 and mainly educational shows with English narration are preferred. And again, it will not only be about presenting the newest shows. Three best shows will also be picked for the Audience Award, Jury Award and the Brno Observatory and Planetarium Director’s Award.The Brno Observatory and Planetarium Director’s Award is connected with a cash award in the amount of a one-year license for the projection of the show in the Brno Planetarium.
