Since its creation in 1988, Point du Jour has produced documentaries, documentary series and drama docs, weekly magazines as well as webdocs for the international and the French markets, many of them co-produced with international partners.
Productions cover a wide range of subjects, principally in the field of history, society, culture, science, travel & adventure. In 2003, Point du Jour received the “French TV Producer of the Year Award”.
Its commercial subsidiary Point du Jour International handles distribution and pre-sales of all in-house documentaries as well as some documentaries from third parties. In 2004, it received the first “TVFI Export Award” for “Dark Side of the Moon”.
