A popular science centre in Tartu, Estonia with a 9.3 m unique fully spherical planetarium with a projection under the glass floor as well as on the dome.
Description
The first digital hybrid planetarium in Estonia and the Baltic States, AHHAA’s planetarium features a unique spherical design with a glass floor and projection that covers nearly 3/4 of the full sphere surface area.
The digital projection is provided by 5 JVC projectors and the optical starfield by two Megastar starballs: a MS IIA as the primary and MS Zero to cover the nadir.
